Ride Crew Terms of Service & Rental Agreement
Effective Date: 1/1/2026Welcome to Ride Crew (“Ride Crew,” “we,” “us,” “our”). By booking, renting, or using our website and vehicles, you agree to these Terms and our Rental Agreement. You’re VIP. We’re your Crew.
These rules keep it that way.1) Definitions
Renter/You: The person who books the reservation and accepts this agreement.
Vehicle: The specific car rented from Ride Crew.
Reservation: The confirmed booking dates/times and pricing.
Authorized Driver: A driver approved by Ride Crew in writing before vehicle handoff.
2) Eligibility & Verification
To rent, you must:
Be at least 25 years old.
Hold a valid driver’s license and provide any verification we require (ID, license, contact info, insurance info, etc.).
Meet any insurance and underwriting requirements (if applicable).
We may decline any rental at our sole discretion.
3) Booking, Payments, and DepositsReservation Deposit
A reservation deposit of 10% of the trip total (minimum $100) is required to reserve a vehicle.Security Deposit
We offer $0 security deposits for our standard rental fleet to get you on the road faster.
A refundable security deposit is required for our specialty vehicle rental fleet and is due 1 day before pickup unless otherwise stated.
Standard vehicles: $0 security deposit
Corvette Stingray: $1,000 security deposit
Security deposits secure performance under this Agreement and may be applied to any unpaid charges, including (but not limited to) insurance deductibles, late returns, refueling, excessive cleaning, smoking/pet fees, tolls/tickets, damage, and administrative costs.Security deposits are released after the vehicle is inspected and any outstanding charges are settled.Payment Method Authorization
By booking, you expressly authorize Ride Crew to charge your payment method on file for any deductibles, administrative fees, tolls, tickets, or damages discovered after the rental period.
4) Cancellation Policy48+ hours before scheduled pickup: Full refund.24–47 hours before pickup: We will retain the greater of 10% or $100. (Reservation Deposit)Less than 24 hours before scheduled pickup OR No-show: We will retain an amount equal to two (2) nights of the Reservation total. If the Reservation is for fewer than two (2) nights, we will retain the full Reservation total not including the Security Deposit.Early returns are not refundable without prior authorization.
Date/time changes are subject to availability and must be confirmed in writing.5) Pickup, Return, Late Returns, and Coverage
You must pick up and return the vehicle at the confirmed times/location.
Late returns are NOT allowed without an approved extension.
Extensions must be approved and paid before the scheduled end time.
Coverage compliance: This is a non-negotiable safety protocol: driving past your authorized period may leave you uninsured. Unauthorized late returns will result in immediate vehicle recovery and the application of all related recovery, time, and damage charges.
6) Fuel Policy
Return the vehicle with the same fuel level as received.
If we refuel, you will be charged $10 convenience fee + the cost of fuel.7) Cleaning & Condition
Please return the vehicle reasonably clean. Normal use is expected.
Excessive mess, stains, spills, mud/sand, strong odors, or biohazards may result in a $100 cleaning fee + any damages.8) Smoking / Vaping
No smoking or vaping in any vehicle.
Violation results in a fee of up to $250 (odor counts), plus any additional cleaning, detailing, or damage costs.9) Pets
Pets are not allowed unless explicitly approved in writing for that reservation.
Unauthorized pets result in a $100 fee, plus any additional cleaning or damages.10) Prohibited Use
The vehicle may not be used for:
Racing, speed contests, drifting, burnouts, track use, off-roading, reckless driving
Illegal activity of any kind
Towing
Surface Restrictions: Operation on unpaved surfaces, gravel, or off-road terrain.
Clearance Awareness: Operation in or through any structure or underpass with insufficient width or height clearance.
Use by anyone other than a "Verified Driver" approved in writing via the booking platform.
Violation may result in: immediate termination of the rental, repossession of the vehicle, and liquidated damages of $5,500. You will also assume full liability for losses and fees, as your protection plan may be voided11) Accidents, Damage, Theft, and Reporting
You must report any accident, damage, theft, vandalism, warning lights, or mechanical issues immediately and follow our instructions. You agree to:
Obtain a police report for any incident involving a third party or theft
Cooperate with claims, investigations, and recovery efforts
Remain responsible for deductible amounts and uncovered losses per your agreement and insurance
Enhanced Financial Recovery: You are responsible for Diminished Value (the difference in fair market value before and after damage) and Loss of Use (loss of rental ability during the repair period).
Loss of Use Calculation: This is measured by the daily rental rate multiplied by the estimated repair days and is payable regardless of our overall fleet utilization.
Administrative Claim Fees: A processing fee is charged per claim: $75 (up to $500 damage), $150 ($501–$1,500), or $250 (over $1,500).
12) Tolls, Tickets, Towing, and Impound
You are responsible for all tolls, parking tickets, traffic/municipal violations, towing, and impound fees incurred during the rental, plus any administrative costs to process them.13) Insurance & Responsibility
Protection plans are separate products that limit your out-of-pocket costs only if you and any Verified Driver follow all Terms and Conditions. If you rely on your own insurance, you are responsible for confirming coverage. Ride Crew does not guarantee that any protection plan and/or insurance will cover all scenarios.
You remain responsible for:
Any deductibles
Any exclusions or uncovered losses
Any losses caused by Prohibited Use or Unauthorized Drivers, which void all protection
Interior damage or mechanical neglect
14) Vehicle Tracking, Telematics, and Tampering
Some vehicles may have GPS/telematics for theft recovery, safety, maintenance, and fleet management. By renting, you consent to this monitoring to the extent permitted by law.Tampering, disabling, obstructing, removing, or attempting to interfere with any GPS/telematics device or related equipment is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate vehicle recovery. You may also be responsible for recovery costs, damages, and any associated fees.15) Digital Privacy & Infotainment
Infotainment & Data: The Vehicle may be equipped with an infotainment system that pairs with mobile devices, which may download your personal contacts, location history, or other digital data.
Wiping Data: You are solely responsible for wiping all personal information from the vehicle's systems before returning it.
Data Waiver: You waive all claims against Ride Crew for any personal digital data left in the vehicle or handled by its systems.
16) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ride Crew is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including missed flights or alternate transportation costs). Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amounts you paid Ride Crew for the reservation.17) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Ride Crew harmless from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, penalties, and expenses (including attorney fees) arising from your rental, use of the vehicle, or breach of this Agreement.18) Governing Law & Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Venue for any dispute will be Lexington, South Carolina, unless otherwise required by law.19) Changes to These Terms
Ride Crew may update these Terms at any time.
The version in effect at the time of booking applies to your reservation.

In addition to standard contact details (name, phone, email), we collect:
Identity & Qualifications: Driver's license details (including date of birth and submitted photographs), passport information (where applicable), and proof of residence.
Insurance & Claims: Insurance policy information and details related to any accidents involving our vehicles, including third-party witness statements and police reports.
Transaction Details: Rental/return locations, flight numbers for airport pickups, and photographs of receipts.
Payment Information: Billing address, charges, payments, and credit card information (processed securely by third-party providers).
Sensitive Information: We may collect "sensitive personal information" (such as health information related to injuries or adaptive device needs) only for purposes permitted by law.
Emergency Contact: Information for a designated contact in the event of an incident.
How We Use Information
We use your information to:
Verify eligibility, identity, and driving history.
Process reservations, payments, and ancillary product purchases.
Manage claims, including investigations of accidents or vehicle damage.
Provide customer support and maintain safety and compliance records.
Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information when necessary with:
Payment Processors: To secure and process trip costs and deposits.
Insurance or Claims Providers: Including Mobilitas or Lloyd's of London for loss adjustment.
Third-Party Verifiers: To conduct background checks, credit reports, and insurance scoring.
Legal Authorities: When required by law or to report a vehicle as stolen.
Data Security & Communications
We take reasonable measures to protect your information but cannot guarantee absolute security. By booking with Ride Crew, you consent to receive communications via phone, email, or messaging platforms regarding your reservation.Your Rights
